A solid eighteen carat yellow gold and tigers eye ring.  A geometric and quite large stylish ring from one of the world's most celebrated jewellery houses; Cartier.  This ring is quite a departure for the company with regards to its look.  The ring has somewhat more of a mid-century look to it, even though it was produced around the 1990's.  The design of the metal surrounded was certainly produced with this exact stone in mind.  This is reinforced by the way that the stone is set into the ring, with the banding running horizontally through it.

Tigers eye is such a unique and interesting stone that really comes alive in direct light, and with movement. It is wonderful to see it set here in such a large size and given the room to express itself in the setting.  The open back of the ring also allows the stone to be viewed from the inside.  A nice touch only designed for the owner.

The ring is fully signed on the inside of the shank with the unique Cartier reference number, and "750" for eighteen carat gold.  The ring is in excellent condition with light surface wear to the outside.  The ring can be polished to look 'new', if so desired.  It is presented in its orginal Cartier fitted box.  The ring is a size six.
